We are so excited our rebrand is officially out into the world. Our studio, formerly Chloe Creative Studio, is now Studio Adagio! In this blogpost, we will be discussing the freshness that Studio Adagio brings, along with reflection of how we got here. Since 2018, we were known as Chloe Creative Studio. Now, we’ve wanted to take the leap even more into the private practice space and felt this transition was what we needed.
Why We Rebranded from Chloe Creative to Studio Adagio

There are several reasons why we felt a rebrand was right. Before we dig in – if you’re thinking about a rebrand, check out this post that will educate you on the right timing!
It all came down to outgrowing what we started as. Frankly, Chloe Creative Studio was formed by myself in a college dorm, dreaming up the idea of helping individuals with their website design. I never thought that it would grow into a multi-six figure company with several contractors.
The most pivotal point was taking my first official maternity leave and handing off my entire business and its operations to my team. We had already been operating smoothly for several years, but this was the first time that I was completely checked out. During this time, we made it very clear that I – Chloe – was not going to be present on projects and many clients specifically said they hired us to work with me on their branding design.
This was when I knew we needed to be clearer on our team operations. If you didn’t know this – now you will – I actually haven’t decided a single branding design since August 2021 when I made my first hire. This part of business is not my specialty, nor my favorite, and it’s been that way ever since!
So, Studio Adagio was crafted to align with clinicians in private practice more clearly. We’ve brought more speciality in branding for private practice clinicians and want to show why we’re the only option you need.
What Studio Adagio (Ah-Dah-Jee-Oh) Means to Us and Our Clients
The word adagio originally came to me unfamiliarly. I purchased a prayer journal to write down all of my anxious thoughts and worries – it was the Adagio Journal.
After several days of use, I never even new what the word meant. I quickly Googled it and immediately connected with the term. “Slow in rhythm” “at ease”.

I did a ton of reflection and realized that all along I have been searching for my slow rhythms but not actually taking advantage of them. I’ve found that a lot of our clients resonate with this, too. We often start our businesses to be removed from the 9-5 lifestyle and instead be greeted with freedom of schedule. But – our busyness takes away from that.
Thus, adagio aligned clearly with where I wanted to be and the message we wanted to give to clients. Life is meant to be slowed and experienced. In order to do that, you have to place emphasis on passive items within your practice – like SEO or web design. Take it from these clients who consistently get 25+ leads per month from SEO alone.
From hereon out, you can expect the real-real when it comes to your investment with us. We have data-backed strategies that works and a team that really aligns with the same values that you have, too. Because of that, we’re the team you need.
What the Rebranding Process Looked Like
I will admit – our rebranding process was not easy. If you’re a designer reading this, you know how difficult it is to design for yourself and provide feedback. We did a ton of internal work before we dove into the visuals:
Reviewed the purpose of this rebrand. We went back and made sure the entire team was aligned on why we were rebranding. We had grown so much and wanted to take the larger leap in serving dietitians, therapists and other clinicians.
Crafted a moodboard & brand direction. This part did change overtime because I wasn’t totally sure which direction I wanted to take the brand. Initially I felt that we should pull in italian visuals to make the connection of the “adagio” origination. I decided our ideal client wanted things more straightforward, and that’s how we took it.
Building the brand and website design
After our “pre-work” was complete, our team began designing every single aspect of the brand from top to bottom. After a few different concepts, we landed on a direction that felt very simple yet funky to spark interest of private practice clinicians.
At the focal point of our brand is our main green color – this was a huge win because not many businesses utilize a color as such, and felt this could be a head turner.
Once the brand was complete, I felt all other places could now fall into place. I invested in a full website copywriting project with my in-house copywriter and her agency, Carter House Copy. Every single word completely resonated with me and connected us to our ideal client.
Lastly, the website design was the funnest part – I designed it! Before beginning, I knew I wanted our ideal clients to be at the focal point. So, we incorporated lots of projects to catch eyes on scroll.
What This Rebrand Taught Us
I can speak to so many different lessons learned from this process. Here’s just a few:
It’s sad – but encouraging – to let go of a former identity. I’ll admit I thought about shedding a tear a time or two thinking about Chloe Creative Studio being no more. It has been with me since my college days and I’ll forever be grateful. But, it also encouraged me. I have built a business that has sustained hard years and pulled through to help many private practice clinicians.
Your ideal client should be your launch point. Do nothing unless you are thinking of your ideal client. We tell current clients this often – when providing feedback on their brand or website design, try not to put your own preferences at the forefront. Think, “What would X like?”.
Personal connections generate leads. While our website has been launched for a little over a week now, I’m spending more time than ever fostering our personal connections. I want to make sure we don’t lose individuals because they think we’ve changed into a stuffy agency or no longer have the personal touch of Chloe Creative. Actually, we’ve since booked clients from other client referrals which means the world.
